Your Indiana Jones Displays - Lets see 'em

I've added a base "stone" holder in the style of the Map Room to hold my full size Staff of Ra instead of the improvised vase holder I was using before. Unfortunately, it's sized for the Relicmaker base (which I have but not attached to a staff) and my staff is a bit smaller in diameter at the bottom so I had to pad it a bit to get it to fit tight.

Where'd you source your staff? It looks like it's got a nice taper.

I bought it from a guy on eBay whose wife's uncle worked at Elstree Studios. The medallion is a pure bronze one made by Michael Key (MK), but drilled by this guy that worked at Elstree studios for the guy I bought it from using what appears to be the Indy Magnoli mount (3 prongs) on the medallion end. So it's a bit of a hybrid ancestry. It has a pure bronze base screwed into it, but it's a little bit narrower than the Relicmaker mount, probably due to the taper at each end.

For some reason I always felt like my Indy stuff was hard to display. To me it never looked right in a glass detolf case and seemed like it deserved better then being thrown on a shelf. But anyway, here's mine.
I've tried to do some kind of organized display with a diorama in the front bookshelf mostly ordered by time/movie and using background photos and candle lighting to make it stand out instead of just some random placement of items in a cabinet or display case. Sometimes space creates an issue where an item looks better slightly out of order (flashlight in case in front of Grail Diary to not block father/son photo). Plus it's in my home theater room so it has to be tight. But it generally goes left to right by "time" (i.e. Temple of Doom was chronologically first, then Raiders, Last Crusade and Crystal Skull).

I used a "drink" theme on the back wall after moving my 1/6th Ark to the front with hanging chain items on the wall and hats and other items placed around the periphery of any such displays (including hanging Bogart's hat on a BD case in front of the nearby Maltese Falcon display and sharing a whiskey bottle between the two since the bite is backwards in The Maltese Falcon (seen above in staff photo).

So since I have the extra yellow gold Landron Holder I did a little rearranging of the bookshelf display to make use of it....

Sweet! The Lao Che airplane wing flipper is very cool. One note, which you may already know, is that Short Round’s cap is a 1928 NY Giants cap, which has a slimmer logo font and resembles the NY Mets cap logo, and not a Yankees cap, which has a thicker font. View attachment 1613482

I'm aware that it's not the right cap but I snagged it in the wild at a flee market for 5 bucks and for that price I was thrilled for a close enough representation

Thanks you guys. I've always wanted one. I do not mind making it. Good references are a must. The provided pics are most helpful.
Surfing through old threads and saw this. I’ve been wanting to add the Hovitos wall darts to my display. If you know someone who is making them or you’ve tried yourself, pls let me know.

The temple side of the room… threw in a screencap of the Nurhachi urn for comparison

Awesome display. The headpieces, Diamond and Ilsa’s lighter are standouts. Relicmaker on the first two I assume? All looks great.

No, the one on the left in the bookcase photos is an Acme and the one on the right is a solid bronze one by IndyMagnoli. I just ordered a new Indy action figure (jacket look) to put in the bookshelf diorama instead (map room one goes with my mini-ark and Sallah figure). The diamond is Relicmaker's, however.

These are the Relicmaker headpieces (back of the room under the Raiders Poster). The grail is by RestauraJones :
