It is caused by the resin holding it all together not just to do with UV.

There is resin in HIPS?

I am sure you will be amazed at how well it will look. All my customers have been!

I did a Blackhole trooper that a guy took to C4; people were all over him about how he got his armor looking sooo good.:cool. He was even on G4's coverage with it

Yep. Tetmatek even painted a Garrison member's TE HDPE - OMG it is so freaking beautiful!!! thumbsup

I'd seriously consider converting it over to a sandtrooper.

My friend had the same problem with his stormtrooper armor. So he decided to convert it to a sandtrooper.
