We all know that Red Monkey made the watch for X2 and X3. It's said that the watch that Hugh wore was the Red Monkey Vintage watch, 1 3/8" Distressed Chocolate leather, grey face, X-Strap. After looking at pictures, I'm quite sure that it wasn't distressed leather. And that because of the worn look of the leather in the movie, Red Monkey assumed that it was distressed. I know that it's not a big deal, but I just wanted to show some comparison pictures. Here is a picture of a Red Monkey watch in Distressed Chocolate leather:
