Would LOVE to snag one of those x-wing buckets. Gorgeous.
In the "roll call" pic, the dark reddish helmet you've identified as "unknown rotj helmet" was in Ep. IV.
The pilot wasn't named on screen, but I think the call sign was Red 9.
That pilot is Red 4, "John D."Very nice!! I love a good X-Wing helmet.

The Red Leader helmet is being worn or carried by one of the pilots in ESB as well. Seen during Leia's pep talk, I think when they wrap up and turn to leave.
I think it's pretty cool that there's still so much to the Star Wars props universe that we really haven't scratched the surface on, yet it's blatantly been in our faces for years and years.
Thanks for the encouraging words guys!
Here's an x-wing/y-wing helmet compilation I put together to illustrate the different styles used in the films.
Every different helmet shown on screen in the three OT films are accounted for in this comp.
Any helmet designated as 'red' was an x-wing pilot, while the ones designated as 'gold' were y-wing pilots.
Hope it's helpful for those who aren't x-wingnuts. :lol
