UPDATE: After getting some screen grabs, I've changed the type of leather I'm using. As Munson said, the "window"s were thick but the back was thin, and I caught a shot in the episode, "Never Again" that showed it clearly. I'm attaching new pics to show the updated stuff. I'm also now using an acrylic leather sealer which gives the wallets a great shine, and helps maintain the stamping around the windows. Let me know what you think! Now I've just got to do a Skinner wallet and an updated Doggett and Reyes card (they were different than the ones used before Season 8).

Just wanted to show off my updated wallet sets that I make. Labor of love, lots of time, and research. The shield is a brand new sculpt I just finished based off some new research materials provided by a great member here! The wallets are hand stitched as opposed to machine stitched like the real ones, but I'm still pretty darn happy with the overall results-especially the sheild, which is based on the later version used in season 3 through the end of the series. Sizes are accurate based on info given to me from the original prop master for the show. Let me know what you think!

Those look pretty close. The leather you used for the outer is too thick though. Still, nobody would ever know!! :)

Yeah, it's a little thick, but it seems to vary from batch to batch. I buy full sides, and the thickness is always a little different, though I do try to stay away from the really thin stuff!

Is the detail on that badge that soft in person or is it sharper?

The wallet looks pretty good.

The detail is pretty crisp, but again, it is hand sculpted. Just sent you a PM with a more detailed photo.
