I'm gonna have to cast my vote for Zardoz. Dear god. Did they not have gyms and tanning beds when that crap was made? I mean, if you're going to stick a guy in a bright red diaper and hooker boots, it could at least be a guy with something to show off...

i don't know if this even counts, but "Alien 51." the "alien" costume was blue spandex and a rubber mask. the "baby alien" was a plasitc baby doll painted blue. it's like they ran out of money and just left the CGI stand-in shots as-is. the worst part is i paid money to rent the movie.
not to mention the DVD cover itself. the "monster shot" was ripped from the cover of El Chupacabra(or it might have been the other way around)
and what's wrong with the jedi communicators being made from a gillete razor? IIRC certain things in the OT were made from camera flashes and plumbing parts; never heard anyone criticize that.

Haven't you guys seen Beverly Hills Cop 3 ? The gun was a joke in the movie! A designer gun that had everything, including a walkman and a microwave oven ...
It's the mullet and the bare chest that "make" the Khan character. Otherwise he's just some old dude.

I love Rover...it's much more terrifying than any machine they could have used, and it's creepy when it smothers someone to death and his/her screaming face comes out the other side.
I vote for "Nell" from "Battle Beyond the Stars", another fantastic Roger Corman production. Spaceships shouldn't have nipples.

Oh of course I did...knock off Cylons and everything. It's just one more thing about that movie TO hate really, that they didn't even take themselves seriously enough to TRY to write it as anything but a joke, probably because they took one look at the prop and rewrote the script for it to (try to) be funny. I find it even more funny that the one scene it was in, we get Eddie hiding behind a park bench to keep from getting shot... He uses it once....aaaaand throws it away.

We've been over this extensively in old threads, but evidence and anecdotes pretty convincingly concluded that there was no prosthetic.Yeah but it's pretty obvious is a prosthetic chest.
