My first post and I hope it's on topic 
Last night a friend and I were in full old school ILM mode; shooting the encased death star model for my upcoming fanfilm. It was a trip! We were the first people to shoot the DS for actual use as a prop since 1976! Big thanks to Gus for inviting us in and allowing the CG removal of his banister The case and location made things challenging, but not impossible. The deadline for completion is November 1st.
A "now and then" look.
