Made a both a Woody costume and a Jessie costume in 2 days, thought it might be nice to post woody here. If there's interest in Jessie, I can post those, too. The link above is an album showing both most of the costume and detail of the belt buckle and buttons.

The hat and spurs we found at a costume shop, the jeans and shirt at a thrift store, the vest sewn by my wife, and we had the bandanna.

To get the shirt right, we dyed it yellow, then used red sharpies and a yard stick to put lines all over it. It's sort of messy, but it looks good at a small distance.

The over-sized buttons are baby food lids, painted silver and white, and with a safety pin attached to the back.

I made the belt buckle out of Sculpey, made a mold, but it both broke the sculpey a little and the resin didn't turn out. So that got scrapped for now, and I'll be tinkering, open to suggestions.

Side note: The guy in the pictures is a friend of ours, chosen for his lerpy qualities. I'm using the pictures with permission.
