i still cant beleive this was your first try at anything like this, i know ive told you before, but it looks awesome!! i cant wait to see it in person friday!

Is that foam you're using? If so, what kind?

My wife and I are currently planning on attending Sat-Sun, so maybe we'll see your costume in person! :thumbsup

Yes it's the 99 cent foam boards from Michael's that have been either sprayed and painted, or wrapped in fabric. Its surprisingly durable, light weight and cost effective XD

I'll definitely be there Saturday and Sunday, hope to see you there!

Okay, working on the shape of the cape this morning. I laid some of the costume on it for size reference.

Also working on the pieces for the skirt..but yesterday when I was painting it happened to be uncommonly windy outside and the pieces for the back of the skirt managed to attach themselves to a few sheets of newspaper before they dried..So I got the paper off today and now I'm working on repainting them. Hopefully they wont be seen behind the cape anyway, but we'll see how that goes
