Wolverine Claws Replica 1:1 Scale

Hi I received these Claws and forearm from Diamond Select. They are made very well the bone feels like bone and the metal is steel. They have a different idea about Wolverine instead of his bones being coated with adamantium they are reinforced which bummed me out. As I said in my Youtube review I will post a link. Here are some pics.

Duplicolor make one labeled Chrome. Krylons is Bright Metallic Silver (but both have a polished aluminum look, not as mirror reflective as real chrome)

So, this is a licensed piece?

as a Wolverine fan those kinda make me sad :( The steel on the forarm would make his arm look bulgy on the top. wonder why they thought that was a good idea

I think those are supposed to actually be sheaths for the claws (they even seem to have slots in the tops to accommodate the claws, & there are 3 of them. If it was simply a reinforcement, why not have just one on the ulna & one on the radius & be done with it). In the original mythos, the claws were something that had been added as part of the Weapon X program. Later, they changed the story (as Marvel is prone to do) so that the claws were a natural part of Logan's mutation.

But if they decided to take the non-OEM approach, that still doesn't explain why they didn't "surface" the bones in adamantium for this piece. :confused

Much better. I agree with the sheaths idea. I just don't understand why the blades are not connected to them or coming out of them. I also thought the cone shaped thingies were part of the gloves, which makes their inclusion here, kind of weird.
