wolf sculpt...first pull!!!!

yes sir! I did say i was going to see this through....i didnt say how long it might take to see it through but........you know. My thickheadedness wont allow me to quit! Im gonna stay at him as long as i can....reallly want this done!

other half of the face and crown detailed. now on to the neck, back of head and alittle more defining of the inside of the mouth. what do you guys think ?

Post pics in your update post dude, its a pain in the ass having to go back to page one, plus we cannot see the differences to the previous update :p

Sounds like you've taken a page from my book, Ted. Keep on truckin'! :p
One thing on the sculpt I noticed ----- which can be rectified with two hands, an empty left, and the right one holding a ruler.
----Take the thumb and index finger of your left hand and touch the center of your eyeballs (with lids closed). Without moving the finger and thumb, pull away from your face and measure the distance with the ruler in your right hand. Now compare that measurement with the center to center eyeball distance on your sculpt----I think you'll find the distance is wider on it.

I thought i was saving space by doing that. heres pics with teeth. Thankyou Carl for the extra set of eye's...i needed to tighten them up 1/4 " (each eye) .....you sir have a golden eye!!!

thanks bud....I think so too....after the holiday rush Ill be finishing him up! Seeing this piece all finished, in latex and painted up with all the trimmings has been a long time coming! Can't wait.

Nice clean sculpt you've got going on there. Not long to go now for moulding and casting. Should look ace when all painted up.
Good luck with rest of process.

thanks bud!! I'm alittle nervous about molding him up , but I will get through it. I've sculpted and molded alot of masks but they pale in comparison to a pred head. The front of him is pretty much done, a few finite details here and there. I have to finish the back and the dread holes, then on to molding. I will be posting update pics. thanks again to all for the kind words!!

A year and a half in the making...lol. But this guy is 99.9% done.It should only take me another 6 months to mold him up Seriously i hope to have him molded in the next week. FINALLY!!!!!! :D
