Spent a fair few hrs trying out WOOOOOOOORMS

the hairdryer idea was a bad one it nearly melted his cheak off lol.

so i decided to do the inside of his mouth scars/burns wise, as the face was symetrical enough ( the one pic makes it look like the left side is wider,thats because i was trying to photo more of that side so i wasnt head on )

anyway packed in for the day, but nearly finished the inside of his mouth and started on the damaged left cheak now.

please forgive the pics, i had to turn the flash on to try and pic up the details better.

i havent started on the spikey things yet hehe, they were just roughly put there to see how it looked,not sure whether the side one need to be shortend or the rear ones need to be lengthend lol.

im kinda screwed for next 7 days as im working.

but ill try and get abit done for a hr after work most days, dont expect many updates over the coming week though.


EDIT. looking at sideshow pic, i think i need to shorten some and lengthen others , DOH !

summin buggin me , so before i go to bed ill post this question.

His eyebrows were pointed out as maybe not low enough,and although ive been looking at "the 1st 5 mins" video till im frankly going cross eyed, im not sure either way about eye brows not being low enough to make him look mean.

as far as i can see n the video his brows dont change a great dealwhen he roars, theres a clearer view on this video.

you can make it full screen and it seems quite clear, although theres a sodding great big play icon when you pause it , so no screenies hehe.

any thoughts on the brows being lowerd?

I have no clue what his name is. All I know is he's a 6'8" basketball player and there's pics of him wearing not only the WOLF costume, but other generic AVP styled Predator costumes on the set of AVP-R. Good chance he's a stuntman and/or stand in for shots of Ian Whyte, who is still listed as playing WOLF in the movie. Hollywood uses stand-ins all the time. Maybe it's like the end of Predator 2, where Kevin Peter Hall was playing the elder, and there was another shorter guy in the "dead" hero P2 suit at the same time in the same shot. Maybe something like that happens here. Maybe Ian Whyte is playing an elder or something and there needed to be WOLF in the same scene at the same time. I don't know.

actually the guy who plays the "wolf" predator is actor Ian whyte II. he also played scar in the first AVP.

The detail on the inside of the mouth looks great, I think you have mastered the scar technique. I think I'm going to have to save up for this mask... I really like the look of Wolf (I love battle-damage), even if it will only be a display piece.
