WOLF Backpack/medkit sculpt*Finished pics page 4*

Chuck, just curious as to why you chose fiberglass instead of resin to cast it. The fumes must be a real bitch. Looks great, amigo.

Hey Carl,
I just like it better LOL. I haven't really done alot of resin parts like this, I usually make smaller stuff in resin where its just pour it in and let it set. Another thing I like about the fiberglass is you can make a thinner casting than resin and its stronger and won't warp. I've noticed some resin parts that I got that have started warping over time. I work in a pretty good size shop area and use a respirator as well.

Hi all

I really like that when I saw the bare sculpt, but how much better it looks with a coat of paint. Transforms it no end, bringing out the detail really well.

On another note, if you don’t mind me asking, what type of paint did you use paint it, and what colours did you use. Its just a couple of members have asked me to paint something of mine, and as they were all AVP-R based bits I thought it would be nice if colour wise I could paint mine to match yours, that way if its for a suit members don’t end up with a hotch potch of colours.

Many thanks

:D Don

It's all spray can paint. For the silver I used Rustoleum silver metallic, the copper is Fusion hammered copper and then flat black for the weathering.
