WIP Iron Man Mark 46 (Civil War suit) Model

Didn't expect someone to already be working on this armor, right? I've been working on this armor since June 3rd but couldn't progress amy further since July cause I was busy. This model is based off of a detailed profile picture I drew checking the Mark 46 promo arts currently available. But I have yet to update the model with the most recent promo art (Team Iron Man vs Team Captain America promo art). I will continue to model the armor whenever I find the free time. Also I haven't fully decided how I will make the 46 files available.


This picture is my progress until July 21st. I haven't had the time to work on it since then.

I have been waiting for someone to start tackling this project! I would love to start building this as a combo of sintra (using foam files) and 3D print. I'd like to help out anyways I can, got some reference pics I can post too. I found an artist who claims to be working on the concept art but lemme verify with him first before I post any reference pics

Google "Civil War Mark 46" and images should pop up. But the main reference material I'm using for this armor is my drawing based off of all the promo arts available. I don't plan to post this drawing until I'm all done with the model.

I'm currently remodeling the helmet. Don't know why, but to me it kinda resembles Red Snapper. But I can assure you, the finished model will look different from this pic and much better.

Yes I do. I also have other set photo leaks which I can use now to model the back of the 46 but I'l end up having to edit a lot when clearer images gets released.
