WIP Deathstroke outfit

Did some more work on this over the weekend. Just need to finish one row of scales on the midsection, do the arms, and finish the gloves. Hope you guys like it. It's an amalgamation of styles right now, but I think it's going to be the bee's knees.

I... I don't know what to say. Some things might be better on the page than in real life. Not to be a dick, but I don't like it at all. It seems almost Marvin the Martian-esque.

Yup, some tweaking here and there and it´ll look even better.

First thing to change IMO is the scale area, has to go down about 1/6th.

Then add the ammo belts across the chest, and the gloves, and I am sure that it will look awesome.

Maybe adding a bit of foam as some kind of muscle suit in the pec area and the upper arms and legs might work. I am not speaking of bulking up the suit but of defining areas.

I think the scales look Great; in fact that's what I liked best about it. With the gloves and Ammo belt, it'll look fantastic. Can't wait to see the end result!

i didnt know this character till i did a search, i think your off to a good start. But looking at the character, bulking up the chest and arms, maybe a little the legs might help a bit. Looks great otherwise. :thumbsup

Not off to a bad start, Alltho I never cared too much for this character, seems like he's trying to be a mix between spiderman, aquaman, and nick fury

I think it is an excellent start. I like to see costumes that are more obscure. Keep us posted on the progress.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the scales are too light a shade contrasted against the blue spandex. I've also seen a few pictures where the whole suit appears to be a fine maille, like some Iron Man and Captain America costumes.

Also, I would have gone with a darker shade of the orange; Deathstroke the Terminator seems to me to be more of a darker, grittier character. Something Alex Ross would enjoy painting.

And agreeing with a little more muscle definition.

However, it does look good, a much better start than I could ever hope for myself. *grin*.

Edit: Found this gallery, I can now see where you're coming from against where I'm coming from. The very bottom-most picture looks like what you're after - note the armbands dividing the two types of textures, and I think that gloves will absolutely make the costume.
