Here is the method i used for the strapping. Again thanks for a friend sharing their method with me.
super glued the ends of the elastic strap I used for the hinges. Then I used some 5 min epoxy to bond it to the inside of the outer side of the upper plate.
I used 2 soft strips of velcro one on each half, And 2 short strips of the rough side to hold the thing shut.






I am currently working on the hand guards....

Here are the hand guards. Not much to talk about same process as the vembracers.






Just need to attach them to the gloves with HD Velcro.

I am pretty excited about our family trip to RCCC. It will be a time crunch, I am completing the "belt" now. Then the 6 rings along the bottom, re hemming the pants (they are a bit too long, and a few adjustments here and there. The only thing I wont have for 501st approval in time for RCCC are the boots, but I have some my black work boots to were for Comicon at least they are comfy lol.

I also have to finish a large Bow, and make a 2nd set of arms for one of my daughters costumes ( Opal from steven universe)

Well, I got my Darth Revan done in time for RCCC. It wasn't perfect but I was my first build. I also made and finished a Bow for an Opal cosplay from one of my daughters the night before we left for portland. It was a load of fun, saw some sweet costumes.
