I am Dreadnaught Industries LLC. Bill is Wilco Models
Bill is now retired, but I am still on active duty. He has a bunch of health problems, and has being going through some rather serious personal events...but also picked up a "meat space" job that he adores (and is very good...at...). He has dropped the prop side almost entirely due to eBay's new policy of reporting all income to the IRS, as well as some of their other shady habits with their shell company, Paypal.
I run a 07/SOT these days (translated from gungeek, that means that I am a firearms manufacturer of everything that isn't a destructive device or ammunition). I do a lot of machine gun repair work these days, and built a lot of competition guns (my preferred market, since I compete rather a lot when I am not off in another country) and police weapons for various departments, as well as conducting small arms and CQB training. Great fun! That business has kept me hopping since I got back from 18 months off playing somewhere that gets loud five times a day, almost five years ago now.
I still do "real" gun props, and am just finishing up a real Mauser/ANH-Hero that will be on the market as soon as it is complete (just need to assemble it now). My Raiders/Smith and Wesson (British proofs) is finally done, with a custom front sight on the now-4" barrel, and is redone in 45ACP/moon clips. That project only took...thirty years...or so...but looks great with my two-decades old Morgan and my nice new "Bar Scene" Headpiece, so all is proceeding as I have foreseen. Or would have, anyway, if I could...foresee...
But the "big" gun market keeps me occupied. I've done four hundred AR's this year alone, and am working up a 308 receiver set that I hope will sell well. My line of micro suppressors will hit the market as soon as I scrape up the cash to have the baffles cast in bulk, and my "zombie" marked AR receivers are probably going to be a bit late to the shark-jumping "zombie" marketplace but still look cool. Fun stuff.
