Has anyone dealt with them before. So far things have been smooth but he said the item was sent last monday and it still isn't here and i'm kinda worrying. Hoping i'm just paranoid.

I haven't dealt with him personally but everything I've heard says he's a great guy, you should have nothing to worry about.

just ordered a kit from him.
took a little time to get but i got it. :thumbsup
i wouldn't worry yet :)

he seemed cool. I always worry more that i screwed up giving my address when i do my infamous 3am emails lol

i find most of the ebay model kits are good guys but all seem to take a very long time to ship as they dont make the item till they sell

Ive delt with Wilco several times, on and off Ebay. They have always been excellent to deal with.

Neil.

True. he let me know it was going to be late, I just tend to not trust the post office at all.

yea the post has lost about $600 in items for me this year.... "did you get insurance" no i paid you to do your job... "im sorry if you didnt get the insurance there is nothing we can do" oh ok.. did you get me not jumping over this counter insurance when i came in?

I've bought from them through the mail before. I learned that after three or four weeks, I had to pester them again to make sure they'd send it.

I've dealt with him many times and have never been disappointed. One time I actually received 2 of the same item, one of them about a week after receiving the 1st. Contacted him about sending it back and he said don't worry about it, keep it. Good prices, nice casts and he's a pretty good guy even if his shipping is sometimes slow.

He definitely gets points for staying in contact, I've never bought something off someone who keeps you this updated. Sadly i've been slow on shipping things too, seems like something always pops up.

I bought an X-Wing helmet from him back before CIV. The process was a little slow, but it showed up the day before I was leaving, and the box smelled like fresh paint when I opened it. But it was a quality product and I was pleased with my purchase.

have delt with him ALOT, on a number of products. He always comes through in the end. I wouldn't worry at all.

Never dealt with him myself, but I've heard the same things. You might have to shake his monkey tree to get him to send stuff, but he always does send it.

He has a friend here who, if contacted, often helps light a fire under him. I think his user name is Wakal?

lol. I think that's who gave me his info. I get like that too when i was trading action figures and such. I'd either get sidetracked or overwhelmed and at times just plain forgot.

I know the guy and have dealt with him.......had some issues with a bulk order to the UK a few years back.....but for the most part I would have confidence.

Check the address he sent it to, confirm how it was sent (priority, regular, media mail?) and if you have insurance....I'd wait until the beginning of next week and then speak to the post office.

I have dealt with them on more than one occassion, both by mail and in person. I have mixed feelings. I made a trade deal with them and they only sent me half of what they agreed to. It took them a year and a half to send me the rest and they did not send what they agreed to send, but to be fair, what they DID send was more valuable than what we originally agreed upon, so go figure. :unsure (I think they just forgot what ir was they were supposed to send)
I've seen them at least a half a dozen times at conventions and though I wouldn't call them "shady" I would certaily call them questionable (keep in mind they have no idea who I am in person). All of their stuff is recast, thrown together and badly painted. However, for the average con-goer who is not as picky about their props as we are, it's perfect. Their prices are very fair but you get what you pay for. Perfect for trooping but certainly not for display.
Then there was the time they had a Darth Vader lightsaber made from a Heiland (VERY rough and hardly accurate!) on their table at a convention. It had scrapes and rust all over the thing! I asked why it was worth 300.00 and he said that it was an MR piece that they intentionally weathered to be more accurate. He said that these normally sell for 600.00 but this was a "con special". Now, for those that know me also know that my girlfriend is as well versed with props as I am, so when they guy at Wilco's table told me this tall tale, my GF had to drag me away before I read him the riot act!

I'm used to running into problems ordering off forums lol. Yeah i'm mainly buying to use wiht my cosplay costumes and since it's a kit i'll be reworking it.

I have ordered from Wilco for years - it is slow shipping sometimes - but I have never been dissappointed. I just got a Firefly pistol shipped last week. The order took about three weeks - but it came. It ALWAYS comes.

Don't worry. They will deliver. The SAAB pistol was good also. :love
