Why is this Vader Flash Handle brass colored?

Strange indeed. Well, that’s not a Heiland flash. That’s most likely a replica MPP; likely a Parks’ or Roman’s
yes, I was thinking the same, but those had a copyright somewhere no?
OK, I dug out my Parks’ and my Roman’s.
Based upon the end cap, that appears to be a Parks (pics below):

But why is the center circle section silver instead of black?
Whatever ate off the chrome likely ate the anodization off of the center section of the end cap as well.
You can still see some of the black anodization in the screw threads.
The end cap on the brass colored one doesn't seem to match a Parks or a Romans from what I'm seeing in those pics. The brass end cap is more flat than the other two. The other 2 have a more rounded edge. Also the clamp profiles don't match. Plus that emitter shroud has very odd details as well. I've never seen one like that before.
The “B Port” odd socket cut outs perfectly match my Parks’ MPP replica:
My understanding is that these port cutouts are unique to the Parks’.
Other replica flashes, such as Roman’s do not exhibit these unique socket cut-outs (Roman’s example, below):

Look at the B and E letters on all 3 examples. The brass one has a more stamped look compared to the Parks and Romans which look more engraved. So far it looks like none of these are exact matches to each other. Anyone have any good pics of Larbel's MPP? Maybe its one of those?
Is there a number stamped into the flash under the black shroud?

On real MPPs and most replicas, once the thumbscrew is removed, the black emitter shroud should just slide off. Since there is no thumbscrew shown in yours I would assume it would just come off. If not then maybe its glued on or something.
It would be interesting to remove the clamp. I can't imagine anything wearing off all the chrome without stripping the paint on the shroud. If it's shiny gold under the clamp maybe it was never chrome-plated, or it's gold-plated (sub-14k). The spot where the grip is missing looks kind of like it was never chromed.
The end cap on the mystery one seems to have a much sharper edge than the Parks or Romans.
