Sinca was banned because it was a brand new member starting off with trolling and insults right off the bat. New members have a "probationary period" in which the ride to bannsville is a much shorter trip than for established members. If someone is of the temperament to cause trouble the second they get here, it probably isn't going to get any better. Nip 'em in the bud.

Well, I can offer my opinion as to the why. We are a very tight nit, hard to get into community. We have, over the years, weeded out the ne'er do wells and crap stirrers. Open registration all of the time would allow these people to pop right back in again, and make the staff have to work at hunting them down.

I know this was not always the case, as if I remember correctly, when I joined, it was join when you can. As we have grown, so have our troubles and trouble makers. The infrequent registration keeps those people out.

I agree for the most part Qui, but I think when we joined predated the limited regestration thing.

The dude was creepy with a quickness and, as I told the mods at teh time, there was an eerily familiar vibe there and, I felt, a definite agenda. The fact that a brand new member felt teh need to attack Mike specifically without showing much interest in other threads about cool props and such...well...shortly after this person got banned I started having the same old cast of banned characters seemingly start up on me out of nowhere...I believe the two are related. Even the NAME this poster used was, in Buddhism, an agent provocateur which is what I told the mods. Our trolls here seem to like putting clues in to their names (like Raz) like they think we're too stupid to pick up on it.
