Who else bought a Kylo Ren Lightsaber from The Prop Shop?

I have never seen one that was available either. Considering it's the only "high end" Kylo Saber, it's surprising someone hasn't listed it to see what happens.
The only Prop Shop replica I would get would be the Rey saber, due to it's OT connections, but Kylo's always interested me as well.

I have heard from the licensing team that consumer products cannot be exactly the same as the real props.
That's why Propshop Kylo and Rey hilts are different and inaccurate to the real props used on screen.
Same goes for EFX... Dark Side Rey saber is different and missing some greeblies compared to the screen used prop.
EFX ESB Boba helmet also had to be cleaned up to prevent it from being identical to the real one in the Archive.

Wasn’t there another member who purchased one at SW Celebration Orlando? Believe someone showed up and sold two sabers and Chewie’s Bowcaster. Memory is a bit hazy on the details so if anyone knows, or if the person who actually bought the saber is around, please do correct me.
I would love to see any in hand photos of Chewie's Bowcaster. I don't know if any actually made it to collectors though.

I have one. And I have been wondering the same thing, how many are in the wild. I haven't studied this particular design extensively, as I have done for the Obi-Wan TPM and Darth Maul TPM sabers. But I did buy a Phoenix Props v2 of the Kylo, and they were VERY similar, although again I didn't study in detail. I ended up selling the Phoenix, and keeping the Prop Shop.
The assertion of "companies are prohibited from making perfect replicas" seems false to me. I have the efx Maul, and it is indeed a 100% PERFECT replica of the saber, and it's absolutely gorgeous. Indeed, the efx is molded directly from one of the originals, which itself was a pretty sloppily-assembled thing, poorly molded from some parts that made up a previous version of the Maul saber, which was remade after Ray Park requested a longer hilt. The efx perfectly captures every bit of imperfection on the original. In their promo materials they posted some pictures of their replica next to the actual screen-used original they were working from, and it's an absolute work of perfection. They even painstakingly matched the paint, brilliantly. The only thing you could possibly gripe about the efx is that the finish of the emitters is a bit odd, and they chose to replicate the recessed disc area shown when Maul deactivates his saber in front of the energy wall, rather than stay true to the original hilt (flat face with a 1/2" diameter circle in the middle which is the rod around which the sabers were assembled).
Anyway, I digress. I have the Prop Shop Kylo, and the efx Maul, and they are the top two favorite pieces in my collection (#1 Maul, #2 Kylo).

There's so much the public doesn't know that I wish I can inform you guys.
Again, LFL is very protective of its assets.
Even EFX Maul (like you explained) is not the perfect 100% replica.

That is one reason why props made with genuine parts are more accurate than licensed ones. And that is why, when possible, I prefer to get the real deal conversion instead of a licensed replica.

I was curious so I did quick search and found the thread I had been thinking of. I misremembered a few of the details, but here it is. It was our very own member The Pawn, mentioned above, who purchased the Bowcaster, (as well as a few other pieces,) and made the initial thread I was recalling.

Which is why it's much easier to get items cast from original props from the Original Trilogy and even some parts from the Prequels. Disney doesn't like that, not unless you're getting a piece they auction off. I know even the Kylo Ren helmet models that Anovos and the Prop Shop had weren't even considered representative of the actual screen used helmet(s).
