Where Did This Star Trek Pistol FIRST Appear? Here are four clues...
This pistol appeared in a Sci-Fi show many years ago!
Gene Roddenberry had something to do with the show it appeared in!
It was NOT Star Trek related! Until it's appearance on Voyager!
And it has been modified slightly for it's ST appearance!

It appeared in a Voyager episode called "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy" and it was listed as a Hierarchy Pistol as part of a IAW costume auction lot!
This should prove interesting as I have seen other questions like this answered by the first member so I can only hope to last to the second member!

GRAND PRISE:
The first correct answer gets a hardy handshake and a firm but friendly pat on the back!
SECOND PLACE
Will receive a limp handshake and a "get away from me kid, ya bother me"!
THIRD PLACE
Will receive a wet, sloppy raspberry for even bothering :lol

Okay, last guess, only b/c it was a recent TV show. Earth: Final Conflict... but I still think it looks like Genesis II.
 
I'm with Darth Gordon. That "Earth, Final Conflict" is what came to mind....
 
Hell if I know... Maybe it's the picture angle, but it reminds me of the Groin Gun from "From dusk til dawn"...

Hello all and thanks for your input, no matter how strange (Hardcastle and McCormick? Hart to Hart????)

androidandy was correct...when he wrote "I think Mic wins..."

micdavis is absolutely right! It is the stun gun from not one but two failed attempts to get another Sci-Fi program on TV by Gene Roddenberry, among a few others! A picture of the original stun gun is above and if you look to the first pic you will note the only real change is the barrel!
So The next time I meet up with micdavis I will be most pleased to award him his prise of a hardy handshake and a firm but friendly pat on the back!

Second place goes to darthgordon, wuher da brewer, Forsaken and androidandy (for knowing who was right)!
All of these lucky winners knew half the answer which is really good because I had forgotten it had appeared on two differenet shows! So the next time you see each other please feel free to give each other "a limp handshake and a "get away from me kid, ya bother me"!"

And finally Third place, it's a tough one as there are so many to choose from!

Betamin I think needs to watch some reruns as he is confusing Sci-Fi with Fantasy, COOL car and HOT babe! :love

IRONMAN well what can I say but to complete the saying..."and opinions, everybody has one" :lol

phase pistol did at least get one of the clues in his response of "The Lieutenant"! Gene Roddenberry was heavily involved with the show and a lot of the guest stars ended up on Star Trek!

But I think I have the most deserving member for the third spot!

Petseal, because I had forgotten the weapon had appeared on two different shows! So the next time you see me walling down the street feel free, feel obliged to firer of a nice messy raspberry as I deserve nothing better!

It's so close to the other gun. Wish we could talk to the maker to find out if a design was used from older designs..
