Where can I find this particular style of boots for a Superman costume?

I'm interested in finding this particular style of boots. As you can see they are leather and they lace-up in the front. I'd really like to find boots that specifically lace up. I've looked at some 20-eye and 26-eye boots in various colors. But, I understand that it is very hard to dye leather boots.

Mine don't have to be this specific shade of red. But, starting with a red leather would be better. For what it's worth, I wear a size 10 in U.S. Men's sizes.

(And, yes, this is a screenshot from the pilot episode of "Lois and Clark." Those with a good eye may know that the costume in the pilot was quite different than the ones used throughout the rest of the series.)

Odds are, they were custom-made, so it is doubtful you will find anything of the like. Most red boots you will find that are that high are women's (i.e. with a heel and/or in smaller sizes).

I'd say your two options are (a) finding white, high-laced combat boots and dying them (which will probably be difficult considering they are not a typical man's fashion), or (b) commissioning these boots from someone.

The one other suggestion I have would be to purchase red Funtasma hero boots and then have a shoemaker modify them to look like these, but I hesitate to suggest that since I honestly do not know how good the finished product would look.

That was my first though too, pinder91. I've done searches for wrestling boots all over, but can't seem to find anything.

Highspots.com used to do custom wrestling boots. Don't know if they still do, but, it's somewhere to start.
