Where can I find dimensions of sabers?

Particularly the Anakin AOTC one. I have been holding on to ramdom parts for a long time with the idea to one day build it. And I thought I might as well start now.

Search the board (or the Internet) for "Darth Saber" "blueprints". His are the best, but don't include the AOTC.

Yea I have done my share of searching the boards. But I have come to find out that you have to be really specific. Because majority of my searches normally bring up random conversations from today, yesterday, etc. It is not as through as I would like it to be. In fact almost all of my searches bring up 20 pages of topics. A lot of them from before 2007 are blank.

Well, I am no expert on the accuracy of the MR lightsabers, both the more expensive line and the FX sabers, but you can always attempt to find someone who has one who is willing to take detailed measurements for you. I suspect they aren't perfect, but they could be close. Again, depends one what you are looking for. If it helps any, I own an FX Anakin ROTS.

There are members of the board who had contacts with MR's development team and might have more information about the actual props. SD Studios might be a good member to ask.

I'm really wondering how accurate the Sitharchives blueprint is.

Was is actually 1.25 in diameter? That seems almost too small, not to mention I have seen a few fan made replicas that were definitely larger than that.

1.25" diameter is correct. It was the smallest saber of all the movies (save for Yoda's of course). I have detailed blueprints for the run of these I'll be doing soon. If you're having any trouble areas figuring out size, send me a PM. I can probably help a little. I'm quite interested in seeing you put this together out of your parts......you can also buy one of mine. Equally, if you need knobs or bezels or other odds and ends, I can have some extras made (though it's stilll a bit of a ways off).
