Where can I find a basic Millenium Falcon model?

Hey guys,

I'm doing some pre-pro work for an upcoming fan film and I would like to construct a scale model of one of the ships to appear in the movie - it's a YT-1300 class freighter, but it's unlike the Falcon in about every way, so I would need to totally rebuild it - in other words, I'm not concerned with detail. I need the shape and that's about it.

So as a first order of business I'm interested in finding a realtively small (10-15 inches in length - I'm flexible on this however) base model of the Millenium Falcon. I only need a shell to work with. Interiors are not important. I also do not need any greeblie parts, such as blasters, sensor dish etc. I will put an ad in the junkyard looking for a trashed model after I post this.

And - this probably goes without saying - I don't want to spend a lot of money on it. That HLC model or whatever it is called looks great, but I can't justify spending 1-300$ on something I am essentially scrapping for parts (it would be a waste to other collectors, too).

Before anyone says it; yes, I did a search for this, and no, I didn't find anything substantial.

you could use a papercraft version and then after you resin the paper you could add what you want.
Cheap and simple.

It's a little bigger than you want, but cheap (under $50 easily)

I have a Falcon cut away kit that I will give you for the postage to you. It doesn't have the box. All the pieces are still in the baggies. Might be a start for you. send me a PM .
