Whats the Best Thickness for Daedric Armor?

Hello everyone!

I've been planning on making the Daedric armor from Skyrim as my second cosplay (first was master chief). The one problem however is i'm not quite sure o the thickness of foam to use. I know that its in the 4-6mm range but not sure what one is better for Daedric armor in specific, or if there's even really a big change.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I'd probably stick closer to the 6mm (for the base of the suit, with details on top), as it's pretty bulky armour and you'll want it to to be strong and retain its shape. Personally my "standard" thickness of foam is 8mm.
