What's the best silicone on silicone release agent?

I ususally use vaseline, but looking to find something with a thinner finish.

I read on another forum that any gloss acrylic spray paint will do the job. Anyone tried this?

Mouldlife do a good spray wax release , useful for resins as well but works a treat on silicone WAX RELEASE 400ML CAN

ive use(d) the spray wax too, i recommend it. just light coats.


edit, heres the stuff i have, cant remember where i got it, don't think it was that pricey though

I use Epoxy Parfilm. It's in a spray can and is a wax release. Just google it and you'll find a distributor. It also works great as a release for urethane/resin castings too.

I've used enamel and lacquer spray or brush paints and acrylic paint brushed on. All work just fine as a barrier coat and the first test casting from the mold will take the paint with it. FWIW.
