What type of fabric?

Hey all got a quick question. What type of fabric would you suggest I use for a batman cape? Going for an animated style costume if that helps any.

I went with a buckseude. It is heavier than what some use, but it doesn't fray so the scallops are easy and it doesn't stretch so it was easy to sew.

It kinda depends on what your cowl and trunks are made of, they all seemed to be made of the same material, even though they were drawn. With the reflections on it I'd say a lightweight Matt faux leather.

My cowl I'll be wearing is rubber. I was thinking maybe like a matte black polyester or something
