What to do with a lightsaber saber soundboard?

Hullo there!

I've been a lurker here for a few months now. I've got a new saber project in the works (my second), and I recently acquired a soundboard/clash sensor for an FX Luke ESB saber.

The part came in today, and looking at it I realized that I really hadn't a notion how to make sense of it all. I was wonder if anyone has worked with one of these before, and can give me a hint as to what everything is.

I have here pictures taken from the original posting on eBay.

Yep, that's what I would recommend too. That forum section on the TCSS forums includes everything you would need to make sense of an MR board. If you plan to use a 3W LED for the blade, you'd need to pay attention to the Vf (forward voltage) requirement of the LED, and figure in another 1.5V or so for the speaker, to figure out what voltage your battery pack needs to be. But be cautious, the MR boards can't handle more than 6V running through them. I'd recommend a 4x AAA pack or something similar. Then it's just a matter of wiring the leads from the board to the proper components.
