What Size Foamies?

Hey guys. I'm looking to get some foamie sheets to get my armor for my costume underway. But, I wanted to know what thickness do any of you use? I've seen 2mm and 6mm. I was wondering if the 2mm would be to thin to use? Any input would be highly appreciated.

one thing i will say is that, if you can get 3 or 4mm i would have used that as it would have looked more brutal and beefier

but i think personally only for the chest armour and thighs

Thanks for the response djgs. I have to say the armor you made is awesome. Looks great. How did you put those dents on the shoulder pauldron?

what to do is on the underside put some fast acting glue then pinch the top side with you fingers and the glue holds the shape
