What prop should I make next?...

I am NOT selling anything here. Please don't ask me to make anything for sale.

Second:
I don't want to make batarangs and anything "curvy". I got a request for a Judge Dredd badge before and it's not happening. Sorry Funky, I can't machine an eagle. :lol

Any other ideas for props?

Actually, a real good project would be a metal wand for a GB pack.

I don't know how popular it would be, but always wanted the screw at the end of Iron Giant done.

Hmm, what about acrylic or aluminum wings for a SS X-Wing? I'll send you deminsions tonight in an e-mail unless someone has them quicker than me. Anyone want a set of those? Do the parts have to be any specific material?

Steve, I want you to do another run of your MIB 1 Neuralyzers and then do a new run of mostly (or all) metal J2s.

I would then be a happy little geek.
 
The neuralyzers would be prohibitively expensive. They were complicated little buggers. It required an electronics company that could do everything in surface-mount, a machine shop for the metal parts, a printing company for the control panels and dials, a display case company for the cases, a plaque guy from the RPF, and me to polish the metal parts, assemble everything and wire it all up.

Waaaaaaay too complicated for me right now.

Funny note...The original prop maker, Rick Gamez supplied me with all of the dimensions from the original. Later, the usual "prop nazi crew" trashed my replicas saying they were "baseball bats" and "HUGE!" (See note above about getting dimensions from original prop maker). :rolleyes

I just don't have the time for any of that nonsense and drama anymore. Life is a lot simpler now. Ya know?

J2 Pistol...also way too complicated to machine cost-effectively. That is why the originals were cast aluminum. I had an original in my posession for a few months and got to mold it while I worked at MR. Neat prop! I never got the replicas to production because our VP of marketing didnt really like MiB. Long story.

Wasn't Rick making a few of these for collectors? Can't get any better replica than that, right?

Well, I've had something on my mind for quite some time. Though I don't have any screen caps of it (hopefully someone will post one...Phase Pistol where the hell are you?) How about Scotty's screwdriver from ST TOS? I've never seen anyone make one before and I KNOW several people here would love to have one. It even came apart and was totally cool!
 
X Wing wings sound cool. I would need good blueprints.

Scotty's screwdriver sounds really cool. Again...images and prints!

I would buy THAT for a dollar!
