What ONE prop has made it into the most movies?

Practically since the invention of ENIAC and UNIVAC, anytime a movie wanted show a computer "thinking" or "working" they always cut to a reel-to-reel data storage machine. Spin left, spin right, etc, back to the rest of the scene.
I've heard it said that regardless of future advances in computers, that R2R will forever show that a computer is *doing* something.

More of a set design piece, but still...

This thing is called the "Dodotron" and I remember seeing it in Sci-Fi and Fantasy Models magazine here in the UK in the early 90's.

It's been in Men in Black, STNG, Voyager, Austin Powers, Batman Forever. It's also one of the more interesting looking things I've seen.
