I'm already thinking about next Halloween and trying to do some research. I'm thinking of doing Han from ESB. I went to Corillean Exports and their site is gone. I tried costumebay and it's now one of those generic pages that takes you to other costume pages. What the heck?

Anybody know where I can get a Solo costume????

The missus got his ANH to go with the Yoda stuff she knitted for our son:

and it stood up to a lot of running around at the zoo. She wore it all day and was really comfortable. Had to do a little tailoring, but that had more to do with the fact she's a girl than anything else.

I really wish he'd update his Solo holster rig. That doesn't look like it could be modified to accomodate a mauser of any kind. Does anything fit his holster?

We put a toy gun in it as we were walking around the San Francisco Zoo on Fisher-Price kids' day, and not exactly going for screen-accurate. Mommy got soy yogurt all over the vest at lunchtime and even George didn't include that scene in the Special Editions.

Sorry. Don't get me wrong. I really like everything in Utopiabase's Solo costume. I even like the gun belt, and would get one, if only it would fit my Han blaster.

it can be altered to fit a Mauser. But not out of the box, no. But sadly, there's no real option between that and spending $300 for a custom leather piece. unless you make it yourself.

Sorry. Don't get me wrong. I really like everything in Utopiabase's Solo costume. I even like the gun belt, and would get one, if only it would fit my Han blaster.

Naw, no worries; just trying to be funny.

Seriously, though, I have one of the Blas-tech Denix conversions, and even if the utopiabase Han holster was the proper size to fit it, I'm pretty sure the pleather and the rivets he uses wouldn't take the weight of the gun, anyway.

I'd REALLY like to see affordable options for the gun belt, and boots! For the handful of times I'm ever going to wear a costume, I just can't justify the $300 rig, or $200 for boots. Though they do look SUPER sweet, and I would love to have them!
