Since we have alot of talk about films that you hate, modern ones mostly..

What films do you love to drag out no matter how many times you see them?

Whenever I feel the need to feel spring....Mr.baseball with Tom Selleck gets popped in. or The feild of dreams.
Whenever summer comes around, I throw on a little Doc Hollywood.

Whenever I feel like underated classics, I throw in 'The Worst Witch', or 'Flight of the Navigator'.
When I want pure fun, it's 'The Wizard'.

for action/comedy
you can't go wrong with Back To the Future.
Galaxy Quest.
Star Wars 4-5.

For Kids pictures,
Why not a little BedKnobs and Broom Sticks?

Films like this remind me good stuff has been produced and that there's hope for the future. your mileage may vary of course, but what do you like to pull out on a boring day that you have on complaints about what soever?

Star Wars is always a go-to for me, but I also include the Last Unicorn, the Princess Bride, Labyrinth, and Legend in this category because I loved them as a kid and they have stood the test of time quite well, in my opinion.

The Grumpy Old Men movies, Airplane and even the sequel, any of the old Mel Brooks films. The older live action disney stuff from the 60s and 70s.
Come to think of it I think the Grumpy old men might be my spirit animals: I'm bad with money like Jack's character, grumpy like Walter's, and saying inappropriate things for the hell of it like Bergess'.

What did you think of "My Fellow Americans?"

And I do like Airplane II. And Spaceballs. And Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

If The Mummy (99 version) is on TV I will watch it. Every single time. I honestly think I've seen it more than any other film.

Movies i I just enjoy.. Goldfinger, Suicide Kings, Star Wars, Hell Boy, and for more recent ones, Inglorious Basterds, The Man From U.N.C.L.E, The Dark Knight.

To to throw a TV show in, I have watched through the three seasons of Sherlock more times than I can count. If I'm ever working, I'll throw an episode on in the background, and without fail I always desert the task completely and end up just watching the show. :lol

The amazing Spider-man 1&2, Dragonball (Z) cartoons, The Cannonball Run 1&2, Uncle Buck.
When in the mood for documentaries,I watch Journey to the edge of the Universe or The revelations of the Pyramids

Lots of good stuff above....one i always stop and watch if its on, My Blue Heaven.

Another...Better of Dead. "TWO DOLLARS!"

My favorite feel-good movie is one from just the last year or so... can't recommend enough...

"CHEF"

Written and directed by Jon Favreau...

It's such a good little flick about being a dad, being there for your kid...

I originally thought it would be about working in a kitchen... or the horrors of behind the scenes at a restaurant.

There's no terrible incident that brings things down... it's just a fun, feel good flick.

Inspiring as heck.

You absolutely will not regret watching this movie...

Little known British (actually Scottish) film called "Gregory's Girl", which I can watch over and over again.
Wouldn't think it translates well, across the Globe, however.
You probably only 'get it' if you were an awkward teenager growing up in the UK, in the early 80's.

Star Wars OT
ALIEN
Star Trek 1-3
Dances with Wolves(If I have time)
Early James Bond(Sean Connery)
Captain America
Braveheart
Unforgiven
Captain America TFA & TWS
Thor
Robocop(the original)
All Quiet on the Western Front
2001
Jackass1-3

back to the future, is my all time favorite movie. the sequels are cool and all but the first time will always be my all time favorite. i always feel good watching it. i always talk to my grand parents and great aunts and uncles about the 50's. my friend was a teenager at that time and said it was the best time in the world and in his life. just being germany and japan, the country turned around.

i always go to car meets where they play 50's music and everyone dresses up (sock hops). i wish the world was like what we see in george mcflys world... little breakfast cafe's, you can leave you home and car unlocked...

when marty first reaches city hall and "mr sandman" starts playing i always get that feeling like "man i wish i was there..."

The Blood of Heroes , even though it is an apocalyptic type film it really boils down to a sports movie . it along with the original Vanishing Point are among my favorite movies of all time. And Johnny To's the Mission weird music and all !
