What do you think of my Hobbit Foot?

Ok so this was a last minute idea since my other options were a bust.

I basically used clear Elmer's glue and faux fur. I spread the glue on my foot and then cut the faux fur and dabbed it on my foot. I tried to kind of pull it a certain way (too look more natural), but it didn't really work out.

So, what do you think?

Yep, definitely need more.. hair.

I'm not sure of the efficacy of Elmer's for long term usage (such as an all-day convention), might want to look into other options there as well. Liquid latex, spirit gum, etc.

Looks decent though, good short-term solution!

Head over to Premiere Costume on Cary and ask for some spirit gum. Works better than super glue. Spread it on, let it get tacky, then attach hair.

It's just regular, school-type Elmer's glue that I am using. It's just clear. It washing off pretty easily. I have some spirt gum on it's way in the mail with the ears I ordered.

spirit gum comes off easy enough with a bit of rubbing alcohol.
