What do I wash my resin pieces with before putty/sanding and painting? Anything other than a good rinse with hot water and a rub down with a washcloth?

Thanks.

I use whatever dishwashing detergent I have at the time with warm/hot water.

Let it air dry, wash it again just to be sure, and air dry one final time.

Andy,

use some Dawn or other detergent with grease cutters. They're especially efficient at breaking down and removing mold release agents and any skin oils.

Yep, that's what I use. Get a soft bristled tooth brush and gently scrub all the nooks and crannies.

If you have particularly nasty resin, use Castrol Super Clean to clean it.

thnaks everyone. This pice I got was pretty clean. I just want to be sure, you know. :)
