What did P2 inject himself with?

Just watched P2 today for the first time in awhile, and that is one badass pred. After the pred 'fixes' his cut of hand and and shotgun wounds, he breaks out a rather large needle and plunges it into his midsection injecting some kind of liquid. This seems to throw him into a rage of some sort, almost as if its amphetamines or some kind of fast acting anabolic. What do you think it was?
-sidenote....I thought Danny Glover was kick ass in the movie, your thoughts?
 
I think the Pred yell is not from the medication or rage but his pain yell from that big ass needle plunging into him.

I think it activated his 'kill gland' which throws him into a rage. If you don't know what i am talking about type it into wikipedia

In my opinion i think its a basic predator antibiotics or something it wouldnt be a rage thing, come on if you have a needle that big plunged into you, you would would scream out like him lol ^^
 
DIZZYARSEIt was insulin, he was diabetic and had a sneeky donut which sent his blood sugar rocketing. You can tell by his feet... definate Diabetic Neuropathy!

Seriously though, in the Concrete Jungle game you use the medicomp to restore your health... plunge in the needle, big roar and 100% health! So presumably it is, as said by others, some kind of adrenalin drug to get firing on all cylinders again. Remember, to the clan losing is not an option!

I think it was a shot of adrenaline/regeneratative (is that even a word?) serum of some sort. At that point he was in "Fight or Flight" mode and he chose to get the hell out of there. Which was probably a good idea as he'd just been shot to ****, dropped of a very tall building, and lost an arm.

Steroids, It was actually said in the movie, when the scientist/doctor was examining pieces from the slaughter house, she had found traces of it within. Maybe why predators have some extreme strength at times.
 
I thought the steroids were from the raw pieces of meat in the slaughterhouse, it's not uncommon to give cows growth hormones, the "hero" sure did love him some steak anyway, so that would explain how the traces 'roids got into him...
 
It was a vaccination of some kind - a tetanus shot - or an adrenaline shot, which gunshot victims, etc. get to not go into cardiac arrest. At least that's the most plausible explanation to me.

No, this is wrong. They found traces of steroids from the cattle meat in the slaughterhouse, that's what led them to the slaughterhouse which was his feeding ground. Cattle are injected with Steroids to make them bigger and meatier.

He was injecting himself with something along the lines of a tetanus shot or adrenaline.
