I have several things I am working on, but no photos yet

Here is the costume I made for my son for the past two A-kon conventions. Some pieces purchased, some made.

He was Gaara from Naruto in 2008 and 2009, then Vash from TriGun last year.

I'm putting the finishing touches on my Deadpool for New York Comic Con in October, Deadpool is my first costume, and I pieced it together from E-Bay and Army Navy surplus, but it's coming along AWESOME!!!! I feel guilty that I didn't hand-make it, but it still looks sweet IMHO

I'll toss up some full body shots that aren't all fuzzy, I got one of those bodysuits from China, and I still have to totally redo the face, I'm making the black spots larger and positioning them better, and then I'm gonna use either a mesh or white stocking material for the eyes. The chest straps are a rock climbing harness I got online, when I do DP 2.0 down the line I wanna make the whole chest harness teleporter device but this a good start.

Any advice or comments?

This totally doesn't count, but...

I'm hemming and taking in a bunch of costumes for the musical Carousel that my 9 year old is in. (it's a university production, he's merely one of 5 children)

A piece of cake compared to designing patterns, but at least I do feel like I'm participating in something costumey and cultural. :lol

You may have seen the retro space helmet I've been working on for myself and three other guys. We have a sewing day set for May to create the retro spacesuits to go with the helmet. But here's a little sneak peak of what we have in mind-

no it is not the gym mat stuff. it is called tb-20, and industrial foam
