Thought I'd update considering I've scraped most of my old projects. :lol And I've come to my sences that I should only take on one main costume and a side project at a time.

Right now I'm looking to finish my "Police Car Escape" Joker by Free Comic Book Day. I still need :

Suspenders
Tabio Socks
Vest
Pants

and because the items are so cheap at Goodwill, I might put together a John Dillinger/Bank Robber costume.

For 2010, I'm looking at the Mad Hatter, but I don't think I want it to be a main costume to wear to anything but that Halloween. So it's gonna be a budget project mabey.

And then I'm steadily putting Capn' Jack together, but I'm taking my sweet time with that, I'm shooting for the next POTC movie's release. If all else fails I'll do a Deserted Island Jack. Or a Locker Jack.

I get ideas I want to do for projects and then either drop them, or don't do anything else with them. (Cade Skywalker, Sandtrooper, etc.) :(

I'm working on my movie Rorschach costume right now. Need to do a little bit more work on the coat and get some better gloves and I'm ready to go.

Next up is Spider Jerusalem from the Transmetropolitan comic series. After that We'll see what I'm feeling up to doing.

I finished a pepakura mando bucket and most of the gaunts. I think I might make Jodo Kast or a very close custom. If I do a custom Mando, it'll be real close to cannon, just with some cost saving measures such as no switches on the gaunts and backpack, little stuff like that.

....

The Armor. I have made a couple suits of mandolorian armor so im going to go that route out of sintra. Does anyone have any templates for the armor. If not im trying to design some rough drafts that if they are successful i can put into the paper prop thread.

Ihighly recommend cuir boille :) It is a means of wetting leather and forming it. There are a few methods, and I'd recommend testing them first (cold/hot but not wax- though that's less important when you are not using it for real combat!)
I'm fairly certain these are leather armour but there may be a hollywood cheat to it (vacformed/cast and with a fine layer of vinyl or leather glued over like in some of Zam Wessel's armour) but given the stitches and the embossing I'm pretty sure big slabs of leather are what you want ;) High density and heavy gauges.

It's actually quite a nice process though I have only had some minor experience with it. No nasty chemicals, usually nothing to burn you (another reason to avoid the wax method!) and you can get some really good curved pieces from it relatively easily.
Wet leather, pull it over a mold, let it dry and then get embossing and dyeing. Sort of ;) You do want vege tanned leather.

Oh yeah and you will probably wind up with working armour that genuinely protects you ;)

Dark Knight Joker (temporarily on hold)
Severus Snape and wand (current production)
Pennywise the Dancing Clown (research phase)

I have in what feels like perpetual works, Obi-Wan ep I and Han ep V.
I'm actually thinking about completely redoing the tunics for my Obi-Wan cause I really don't like the way they turned out with cotton gauze, which means it'll probably be a project to finish next summer.
For Han, all I have left is the blaster and gun belt. I think I have everything to finish the blaster, then it's onto the gun belt.
I really want to do a Hook outfit but if I do the one from Peter Pan (2003?) with Jason Isaacs as Hook, well it may be outside of my price and talent range.

Boba Fett ESB...90 % complete. Flightsuit , flak vest, cape, gloves, sidearm and holster, ammo and girth belts, wookie braids are totally homemade. Armors not ULTRA accurate but pretty decent

I'm still building the mannequin up and I havn't quite finished the boots yet or had a go at aging the chainmail, but you get the idea!

Don't have pics yet, but I'm working on a SA RAIDERS Indiana Jones costume. I think I've sourced the correct style gas mask bag which I ordered today. I won't get the whip for 6-8 weeks. I'll just need to get a Tony Nowak RAIDERS jacket , a hat, and holster. Everything else I have. The COOL thing is I wear the same clothes size as HF, so you can't getting anymore SA than that.

I also have a Boba Fett which I am gathering parts for the future when i build it.

I'm working on my ATA TK armor right now. Taking it slow during the painting process. The weather is starting to get much cooler now and I'm limited in space for painted parts to be drying around the house. Painting a part at a time.

Here's my completed TX at SDCC09

I'm revising my jawa and started my Imperial Officer. I also have a V uniform from the '80's when it first came out. Tried it on for the first time in 20+ years on Halloween and it still fits! (well, I could use some adjusting in the waist LOL). Also, have many ren fair costumes, a jedi costume, and my disco Padme (don't ask). And my Stargate combat photographer outfit (OD green with black combat vest). Would like to finish my Padme steel grey nightgown (the one with the pearls).

And since you asked:

And yes, Jawa Jaka in action:

I'm working on TX (black stormtrooper) and a Highly modded T21 (lewis gun).

The T21 is done and made of wood. I am working on the special effects. It will have lights, sound, and smoke!

I just finished 5 jawa costumes for my wife and kids. The debut at Star Wars Fan Days 3. They turned out great....

Working on finishing my Wedge Antilles ROTJ X-wing pilot, well if I ever get my helmet kit... :angry As well as the things I need to eventually replace/upgrade.

Working on research for the snowspeeder pilot version as well as an "off duty" flightsuit w/ orange jacket version based off his appearance in Rogue Squadron: Phantom Affair (I absolutely love Edvin Biokivic's art in this mini-series).

Well i can dream at least.
