What color is the Carbon Freezing Chamber floor in ESB?

I'm making a base for my 1:1 Vader.

Most people just paint them black, but I see the prototype for Gino's SS Vader was kind of a metal grey color.

Thoughts?

There are a few pix floating around of the actors sitting on the steps of the lit set.
IIRC it's an oily brown look.

From pics I have seen of the set when it was unlit from the bottom, the metal grating looked a lighter gunmetal colour. The orange glow from underneath changed the colour of everything...most notably the troopers. So the reason it looked brown, is because of the lighting.
