What can I use to fill/ sculpt on a plastic model?

Like the thread title says: I have a model I wish to build up, add to, and dent lots and lots. (Shhh! It's a secret what I am working on! :love). I live in the US, and there's a Hobby Lobby across town, a smaller model shop at this end of town- What should I be looking for? Keep in mind, this is a typical plastic model, so baking it aint gonna work. "heat melts types like him rather quickly" :) something relatively lightweight, that works with sheet styrene as well. I know there's something out there- but danged if I cant remember WHAT.

Help, please? It'll take some time to finish, but it'll be worth it to see.

Definately AVES.You could also sculpt individual/seperate parts of super sculpy (bake them) and epoxy them onto the kit you are working on.

Thanks! *starts pricing and checking both options* Where one wont work, I am sure another could- tight spaces, ect. :) May as well do both

I ordered from Aves- I looked at the galleries, looked it up on Google- WOW the detail you can get is astounding. I grabbed a lb of Apoxie Sculpt. I am not a super sculptor, but it looks like I cant miss with both this product and the subject I am working on.

I forgot, also if just filling a figure or other kit to fill in dead space and add rigidity you can fill it with expandng foam. The stuff in the can is OK,but I wouldn't use it.The stuff in a can cures by evaporation as opposed to a chemical cure of A&B components. You want a "full cure" so the part A&B kits are best I.M.O.Also,to add weight to say..."figure kits"...some epoxy&cheap ball bearings like the kind you can get at hardware stores. Some people use lead fishing weights, but "its lead".I'd stay away from lead unless it is absoloutely necessary to use it.

You might want to steer clear of Bondo when working with styrene model kits....Bondo is Polyester resin and it will soften Styrene.

But you can use Bondo Glazing Putty on styrene.
It's better and cheaper than Squadron putty.
It can also be thinned with lacquer thinner.

Aves and Magic Sculpt are used by most Garage Kit sculptors so you can get some great details with it.
