What are the curtains on the USS Defiant bunks?

I have wondered for a while what these things really are. I have played with the idea of building a 1:1 bunk in a guest room for the hell of it (I would first have to clear it with the XO - my wife.) I don't think they are just plain curtains as they seem to be fairly uniform, compact, seem to accordion closed, have a flat leading edge, and follow a track on the top and the bottom of the bunk opening.

I would really have to see them closed to know for sure, but there are plenty of places you can find accordian curtains that you can customize both size and color.

I think that is your best bet and just hide the track behind the wall.

I HAVE seen accordian curtains (like a hard plastic) that have a track on both the top and bottom, I guess the best bet is to just search "accordian curtains" and see what you come up with. (I think my dentist has one that goes around the chair in a circle). In the meantime, I will keep my eyes open. Good luck!
