I was always debating putting a wooden stock extention? Or would that be too copycat Boba-like?
Way to copycat.
It's perfect as is. If I had funds I would buy it from you.

It's actually a vintage flash cell...i'ver never seen one before in my life...it perfectly houses the heiland flash cell and has a retaining mechanism as you can see on the side of the revolverCan I ask what base gun you used?
Yes, a flash pistol grip...i couldn't believe it when i found it...i can't even find anything on it anywhere. The scope is a very rare vintage flash with a mini style graflex clamp...never seen one of those either...The bulb insert is heavy brass too, which all the other ones i have feel cheap...i sanded it and chemically darkened it to make it like a barrel choke. It’s a flash pistol grip?! Wicked, I absolutely love it. Using the Heiland bulb release as a front sight is really clever.
I would vote for trying a stock, it’s a very forward heavy blaster
Liking the wood vibe, I'd use it!I was always debating putting a wooden stock extention? Or would that be too copycat Boba-like?
Thank You. Finding the right (connector/bridge) to meet the stock would be the toughest part unless i had one machined specifically for it...mainly because i do not want to tamper at all with those rare vintage parts. I'm a vintage parts nut and have never seen these parts in the wild and can't find a single bit of info on them ...besides the vintage Graflex clamp and Heiland, the scope and flash pistol were found amidst vintage part lots. I wish i had some history on them but unfortunately i do not.It looks amazing. Like it came right out of the OT. Personally I would go for a stock. I agree with the sentiment that it's forward heavy and it would help balance it out.
I mean...if it was guaranteed to make it into a movie or show that was, you know, directed by a certain man named George Lucas then i, most likely, would make an exception...lolThat makes sense. If you don't want to modify the vintage parts drastically, I wouldn't blame you.
Sorry I'm late - yes! Spiffed up an older model I had made with a few better details from the original Avro Lancaster lamp part.Hydrospanner?
