Weyland Yutani style cases and request about a Beretta product.

Hi folks,
I've recently had a few members ask for pics and such regarding a few of the display cases that I've made in the past. It wasn't until today that I've had a chance to dig through my own archives and collect a few demo shots that I've taken over the years. Each version was more of a calculated experiment with several possible Brown Bess substitutes. Although the finished product turned out pretty well, I think the Aervo Earth is going to do the trick for the next case that I make. You'll see an example of that in the two pics that compare it to the MR Tracker finish. At least, it looks great in a photograph, eh.

Anyhow, I am having a little trouble locating the somewhat vintage pistol case that is the base for the WY flare box. If any of mah fellow pistol fans can help me locate at least 'one' of these cases, I would be ecstatic. As for the shell case, I've already got a good source for those.

Thanks so much, in advance. ...and BTW, the following pics can be clicked to pull up a hi-res version. Sorry. I just didn't want to load down this thread with a bunch of pics tonight when it is not necessary.

Thanks again,

That's a DAMN fine PR. Can you tell us some details about it?

Oh yeah the boxes are fantastic too!! :lol

In shape and size looks almost exactly like a first aid kit I've had for years... Except for the color... :confused

Hey Tom,
Are you sure its pistol case? I have never researched it. But the first aid case sounds just as plausible.

Thanks!! That PR has been a job but, she's coming along. Prototyped the TM version adapters with it. One of these days, I'll be installing an 870. :D

I'll see if I can find the dimensions on it.

I'm pretty sure... An automatic fell outa one that I opened. ;)

That sounds more like it. :D

I had one but I think I chucked it.... It was exactly that shape but rather than the molded plastic interior they come with today, it had a foam insert with the shape of the pistol cut out.

It also is almost identical to the case that came with my Walther P22.

...you can find them on feepay from time to time. actually theres one right now, but from what i can see, its not the 100% accurate model.

Why don't you buy that for me, Joerg? I'm not a member on feepay. (or do you mean ebay?) Thanks. You're a sweetheart. :D

I'M KIDDING!!! LOL!!

Okay, I've been searching high and low for a small stash of these pistol cases with no luck. Currently, I am gearing up to finish out six complete boxes for a special photo shoot. Can someone palease help a brudda out?

Thanks so much,

the cases look fantastic, are the graphics used available?

Thanks, bud. The graphics used are my own digital work based on some very good screen captures, as well as, photos taken from several screen used pieces. I would not be opposed to offering a few printed decals to those people that might already have this particular berretta case.

Actually, I am working on the vinyl stencils for the ammo boxes, right now. Those could be made available if the interest is still there.
