In a nutshell, people whined and moaned, called the local police, called the FBI. Police came to his door, he talked to a judge who let him work out a payment plan. A handful of payments were made, then nothing... Just a slap on the wrist incidentally. Now the man screwed people out of a lot of money, cops could care less, and he's a published author. *sigh* it's all cyclical you know.

so don't get too hung up on the promise of a *gasp* lawsuit!
as much as I hear and read about all these empty threats and ideas, they tend to be just that, empty. I wish you guys good luck with your venture though, I really do!

I'm fully aware that I won't get money OR a replacement. Like I said, I've accepted that. But what I WILL do is make sure to post this thread and information on every costuming site he tries to sell on. I figure first I'll hit up his Popular Science article (he can't delete comments there), then follow up on cosplay.com....and after that, why I'll just google search his screen name/ real name, and post on every site that he associated himself with. I recommend everyone follow suit. Please avoid using profanity when doing so though, we're better than that.

Is it worth it to fix it? I thougt about doing this, or swapping them for raw casts of mine, but we dont need any reminders of le's abominations lol.

seriously! from the first day he posted here, i wondered why people were singing his praises.

Some people are easily impressed. I've notice, sometimes, you don't even need to show anything to impress certain people. All you gotta do is talk, talk, and talk about the stuff you plan to do, even though you have not done anything, in the past, to award you their high expectations, hype or anticipation.

Not to mention, the Hype over Iron Man, and Iron Man 2 made everything relevant shine, specially prop-wise.
