Weird question... Captain Power

I was wondering if ayone has ever done a Captain Power (or any other soldier of the future) costume...?
I'm just curious... So, anyone?
I had one of the old Marco BioDread robot suits way back when. I eventually sold it to a drinking buddy for $150... but it had so many coats of paint on it by then it seemed like he was doing me the favor.

The Biodreads looked ok, but apart from 'Tank', the remaining Power Suits looked cheap.

Loved Captain Power, my then girlfriend and I would just have fun watching the show.
Man...the Marco BioDread...totally forgot about that suit (I have to find those old catalogs!). That was so cool looking! Love the comic clip! :lol

I used to love that show. I even had the tape that you used to use with the ships...it was like an infrared tv type thing. I wonder if that tape is at my parents house still? I'll look. It may help with reference.

I would love to get a power suit almost as much as I'd like to see the show get a proper finale!

Hawk would be pretty cool. I'm not quite big enough to pull off a Tank costume and not look ridiculous. I always wanted one of those blasters they carried! Very cool.
I also wish they would release Captain Power on DVD. I bought some at Comic Con that are decent quality but I'd buy up an official release in a heart beat!

man am I getting old or what... 21 years ago... Where the time has gone.
Though I give credit to my parents who never bought me the laser guns for the show. They proclaimed, "No way. That show is going to be off the air someday and you'll never be able to use them again. We're not blowing $60 on those!"
I was so certain that show would live on forever. Oh man was I wrong. I think the show canceled right after Christmas and oh they were right about those guns. I did have action figures though, Wish I still had them. Back then $8 was a lot for a Captain Power figure. I had like 3 or 4 of them. Dredd, Captain Power and one of the bio dreds too.
That show was good at determining the future. First the bio dreds digitized everyone, now George Lucas does it. hehe--

I started a thread asking about the props a few years ago and I don't think I got much of a response.
Good to see this show is finally getting some love. I have some VHS rips of the show that I watched a couple years back. Total nostalgia, I was a huge Captain Power fan when I was little. Man, it really wasn't a bad show at all.

Actually I was a Captain Planet fan as well, but I was just a kid back then!Ha! I had to click on an external link before I realized Captain Power WASN'T Captain Planet.
Now I think I need to see if I could find some episodes of Captain Power...
