I'll be installing glospex (sunglasses that light up) in the helmet, and I've been toying with the idea of only having one of the lenses light up (the one that doesn't have a big scar across it) to imply that whatéver struck the helmet to create that big cut also broke the lens and maybe even blinded the marine. Opinions?
Your shoulders look really nice.. Too bad you'll be a heretical traitor marine, your stuff would compliment the loyal troops nicely
Also, one of the most important things for a marine is the backpack (not jetpack, unless you're going for a jump pack). Without it, you don't really look as big as a marine should. Take that as you'd like.
B6, thanks for all your notes and sharing your rookie experiences. I have yet to craft my freestyle costume and you're asking some questions and getting advice that all foam costume tenderfoots can benefit from.
I understand what you mean about those hasenbrau shoulders. Took me forever to get it right. Still looks a little wonky, but I can work with it. I tried the shoulders you ended up with and I just couldn't get rid of those seams.
Anyhow, will be working with them tomorrow. Need to add some beautyism to them.![]()
