winter is coming and the paint work may get difficult

that has been the biggest issue. I have parts ready to paint, but the weather is too cold and windy at the moment.

This looks soooo nice! I was wondering how many cans of plastidip you use per suit normally and paint?

I used Stealth's technique on my Mark VI and I used 5 can's. Which wasn't cheap in Canada

Hi everyone,
weather hasn't been to helpful in getting more suit parts painted but that's ok. It motivated me to work some more on my helmets. Mainly the War Machine Helmet.

I'm happy how it's coming a long so far

The helmets are coming out awesome man great job. I cant wait to do a war machine when I finish my mark 7 and the vlogs are real motivating. One question tho, when you sand out all the details how are you going to get them back? templates? freehand?

Thanks man.
probably some templates. I might print out the faceplate again just to have as a reference.

tell me about it. i have at least 3 pieces i need to paint, but no chance. its even too cold for the graffiti paints, and those work as low as 5°C

the helmet looks great!

another question, how do you add the screw details? I have an idea to use the dremel but was curious if you had knowledge to share.

I did mine with styrene rods and some styrene leftovers

Hi Stealth, I became a real fan of your tutorials, it's really inspiring.
I'm building the Ironman mk7 with eva foam, I don't have much money, unfortunately I lost my job and I don't have to much resources, I would like your opinion to spend with the right thing. Which way is better?
Using Bondo, fiberglass resin and fiberglass cloth or just sealing the foam with white glue and use the smooth-on? Can I use smooth-on 321 with eva foam?
Thanks,
Marksete.

if you lost your job, I think this is the last thing you should be worrying about.
wouldn't it be better to save these funds?

anyways, I'm not a life coach, so my opinion would be to just make a foam costume, seal it in glue and paint it. I wouldn't be worrying about smoothcast resin and what not.

foam + glue + paint = cheapest way, right there.
You have a build around $100

yea i sealed it with PVA glue and all but i think the it might be the type of spray paint i used that caused the problems
