I bought some of those at Harbor Freight today too! I got the 1" ones for $7.99, plus I had a 20% off coupon. Much better than the $12 a box I was finding them for online.

Re: War machine 1st attempt...

So i made a little progress..i put some foil so the and won't stick together and they will fit when they go together...i think is a good idea so it won't warp then it will be hard to match them together...you can see Some pictures with them extended..they are not cleaned or prepped yet i still need to modify them and cut the extra fiber glass....

On here you can see that it warped so i will be cutting this part off then replacing it...other stuff is not that bad..i will double check later..

Here I'm going to resin this part again..but i will be making a little xperiment..I'm going to harden it then try to build the other weapons..of i like then i willcut that piece out..just a thought..

Re: War machine 1st attempt...

Well last night i printed out lots of stuff..some double of some things..I'm xperimenting again...well one thing i reprinted was my neck..i know purple say you can't see it much but i think you can.i made my neck to slightly bigger than my neck the first one i made was huge its just right now..well im going to make it functional..or movable so here's what I did so far..i printed the neck them printed the tabs or spaces between the layers which holds one piece to the other.for those who don't know is the two big circles...lol.well you put them together and cut the tabs off on side its hard to explain but it helps as a stop when you raise up the neck..hers a some pictures to show you...sorry I'm making things confusing

Here it is put together like almost lowered all the way...

Here it is put together in the raise position..with no tape or glue..it shouldn't fit to tight so when i add resin..i will trim it down..by the way i will be using some white cotton from like a shirt instead of fiber glass...its hard but slightly more flexible..from my experimented that i made it best for that job.....well more updates later..
