Want to make a green lantern costume, never done this before, need help!!

want to create a green lantern costume for comic con this summer I want it to be amazing. if I had to give a general idea, take captain Americas suit in avengers, I want it to be similar looking to that fabric wise. I see people designing their suit on photoshop first or some sort of program how would I go about this and where would I start?!? help please, thanks!

Try finding some reference images (drawings/sketches, other cosplayers, example materials, etc.).

i have already done that, iv sketched it out what I want it to look like. found pictures but I don't know what the next step would be

i'm currently working on a lantern, it depends which lantern and how you want to go, is it hal jordan style with just a spandex style, a kyle reiner more military/ armor style, a new creation? do you want lights, glowing ring, mask style?

i'm a member of the JLAZ a DC costuming/ charity group and i help with superhero costumes, i can help if you give me an idea of where you want to go...

hey, thanks, well I want the hal Jordan style suit. I have a hal Jordan look iv been told, and I always had this idea of this green lights in the lining of the suit that would glow green, similar to injustice gods amoung us. I don't want a spandex, I want it to be similar material and look as captain America in avengers movie. I will have the mask which I will make at my college I go to art school, so I will make a mold. and I will purchase a ring as well
